Flexibility and Ease of Use GUI (Graphical User Interface) makes configuring complex features like security, simple! This version of the product provides display and configuration of physical and logical interfaces, services, VPN and Firewall. It also supports router administration. Guided Setup in GUI is for novice user who can configure the feature walking through the steps. Configuration section is for intermediate user for flexible and advanced features. GUI reduces the time and effort in configuring and monitoring. The application user need not remember the numerous CLI (Command Line Interface) commands and the tree structure of the CLI. |
GUI and Telnet The Status section gives a snapshot view of the complete system. The Status section contains information on firmware version, licenses, LAN, WAN, Firewall, VPN, and other details. Detailed status is also available for troubleshooting and monitoring. The Guided Setup has wizards for Basic Setup, VPN and Firewall. The Guided Setup has been designed with keeping novice network operator in mind. The configuration screen can be used by intermediate users for configuring bundles, interfaces, security zones, services, Firewall, GRE, IKE and IPSec. For expert users intending to configure features not supported in current GUI, there is a telnet link top right corner of the page, which starts a telnet session to the device configured. |
